Custom 29er Fork Build

Here is a series of shots of a custom MTB fork being built. Looong 480mm length for 5″ suspension correction. Fillet brazed cromo unicrown blades, one piece machined steerer tube. Custom 8″ post mount disk tabs. Peyto’s signature blast/phosphate/clear powdercoat finish for that industrial look with great rust protection.

Trials Rides and Events

Well last night I re-started the weekly wednesday night trials rides here in Victoria. The rides start around 5:30 and we meet at city hall, so if anyone is interested in comming out there is always a nice friendly crew of people. In other news the Ass Over Tea Kettle trials competition will be taking place on Saturday, April the 29th at Kerry Park Arena in Mill Bay. There will be a few riders sporting custom Peyto trials bikes at the event so be sure to stop by. For more information check out www.biketrials.ca.

Stainless goodness

Here are a few shots of a stainless maple leaf being brazed onto a headtube. I’m generally not one for decorative fancy-pants stuff on frames, but I thought this would be cool.
